Salinacruz Kennels has been breeding smooth coat Chihuahuas of exceptional quality since 1989. Our kennel is nestled in the tranquil rural area of Tauranga, New Zealand, where the sun shines bright. Our primary focus is on breeding Chihuahuas with sturdy physical structure, movement, and showmanship that are true to the breed standards. We believe that excellent showmanship is a vital trait for a prospective Group and In Show winner, and we take pride in maintaining a top-notch team of performers who excel in the show ring, regardless of the challenges they face. Our dogs frequently compete across the North Island and participate in international shows (Australia), with many exported to other countries.
